Erica Cerra was born in Toronto in Canada on the 31st of October 1979. Her best-known role is the role of deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra was born to Italian parents living in Vancouver British Columbia. As a child, Cerra appeared in many commercials and became interested in acting. She took a short break from acting, but returned to acting in 2001 at age at the age of 22. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine voted her among Vancouver's top young actors.
